MBA graduate delivers inspirational leadership lecture

28 August 2013

Bringing his experience of leadership in an international humanitarian aid organisation to the lecture theatre, MBA alumnus Randall Zindler illustrated key strategic management issues, and linked them back to his MBA studies at Lancaster University.

Leadership Lecture: Leading growth in complex organisations

In this thought-provoking and interesting presentation, Randall shared his reflections on his time as CEO of Medair. Speaking at Lancaster University Management School recently, he addressed a varied audience of students, academic colleagues, alumni, and business people. He encouraged questions and dialogue, and emphasised the importance of relationships.

Randall, who graduated from Lancaster in 1999, opened with a heart-warming anecdote in which he described his pleasure in returning to Lancaster to visit people he now refers to as ‘friends and family’. He called on the audience to make ‘meeting people and connecting’ the primary reason for their interactions, business or otherwise.
